We are a family-run business based in Wales, United Kingdom.

2. Age Restriction (18+)

It is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK.

  • By placing an order with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any order immediately if we believe the purchaser is under the legal drinking age.

  • Challenge 25: Our delivery partners operate a Challenge 25 policy. If the recipient looks under 25, they will be asked to provide valid photo ID (Passport or Driving Licence). If satisfactory ID is not provided, the alcohol will not be delivered and will be returned to us.

  • Gift Orders: If you are buying alcohol as a gift, the recipient must also be aged 18 or over.

3. Formation of Contract

  • The display of goods on our website constitutes an “invitation to treat”.

  • When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy goods from us.

  • We will send you an Order Acknowledgement email listing the products you have ordered. This email is not an acceptance of your order.

  • Contract Creation: The contract between us is only formed when we dispatch the goods to you.

  • Right to Decline: We reserve the right to decline your order for any reason, including but not limited to:

    • The product being out of stock.

    • A pricing error or description error on the website.

    • Inability to obtain authorization for your payment.

    • Suspicion of underage purchasing or fraud.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£) and are inclusive of UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate where applicable.

  • Delivery charges are calculated at checkout and are not included in the product price.

  • We try to ensure all prices on the website are accurate, but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it.

  • Payment must be made securely via our website using the payment methods provided (e.g., Credit/Debit Card).

5. Products and Availability

  • Images: Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Manufacturers occasionally change packaging/labels. The delivered product may vary slightly from the image shown.

  • Vintages/Batches: Unless a specific vintage or batch is stated in the product title, the vintage delivered may vary.

  • Stock: All goods are subject to availability. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will contact you to offer a suitable substitute or a full refund for that item.

  • We currently deliver to the UK Mainland.

  • Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered.

7. Cancellations and Returns

  • You have a right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

  • Goods must be returned unopened and in a resalable condition.

  • Click-and-collect orders must be collected within 14 days and may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nearest Beer Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profit or opportunity) arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the purchase of goods.

  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

9. Website Use

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect any breach of these Terms & Conditions.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
