WHAT THE PRODUCERS SAY
This beer is based on a Belgian Blonde Ale, but we gave it a really fun, rustic twist! beautiful golden base from the Pilsner malt, with a touch of Melanoiden and Maris Otter, which gives it a slightly richer, deeper color than your average blonde. We used our house blend yeast, so you’re going to get some amazing, spicy, peppery notes mixed with a little bit of fruitiness and banana esters. It smells very rustic and complex. On the palate is a lovely bready, biscuity richness coming from the Maris Otter malt and a balanced, clean, balancing bitterness. Hopped Bobek and Tettnang hops, which leave a really gentle, floral, and earthy flavour behind with a dry finish.
