Description

This is a New England / Hazy Pale Ale that acts as a love letter to one of the most versatile hops in the craft world. It’s soft, pillowy, and focuses on delivering an absolute mountain of fruit character without any harsh bitterness.

The Lowdown

  • The Style: A Hazy / New England Pale Ale. Expect a beautiful, opaque pour with a silky mouthfeel.
  • The Stats: It sits at a sturdy 5.0% ABV, giving it enough "oomph" to carry those big hop oils while staying very drinkable.
  • The Vibe: Thick, tropical, and immensely satisfying. It’s the kind of beer that makes you glad modern brewing exists.

The Hop Profile

The team at Bullhouse have let one legendary hop do all the "heavy lifting" here, and it’s a masterclass in single-hop expression:

  • Mosaic: This hop is famous for its complexity. In Frank the Tank, it delivers big waves of ripe stone fruit (think peaches and apricots) alongside a distinct, juicy berry sweetness and a whisper of tropical mango.

Tasting Notes

On the pour, it’s a glowing, hazy golden-orange with a thick, frothy head. The aroma is a total fruit bowl—you get that sweet berry scent and a hint of citrus right away. The first sip is incredibly smooth, thanks to the oats and wheat in the grist, creating a "creamy" texture on the tongue. You’ll pick up luscious stone fruit and a light lime zestiness, followed by a very soft, clean finish. It’s a "juice bomb" in the truest sense!
