We are always on the hunt for exciting new independent breweries to bring to the shelves. We are thrilled to introduce a fresh delivery from a brilliant new name in the UK craft beer scene: As Intended Brewing Co. Whether you are a dedicated haze-chaser or a lover of crisp, bitter West Coast styles, this delivery has something special for your glass.
Who Are As Intended Brewing Co?
Based down on the south coast in Sussex, As Intended Brewing Co. is one of the most exciting new microbreweries to emerge recently. Founded with a straightforward dream to brew "easy-going, simple, and tasty modern beers," they officially launched in the summer of 2025.
Here is exactly what you can expect when you crack open a can.
Soliloquy | West Coast IPA (5.9% ABV)
The West Coast IPA is having a massive resurgence right now, and Soliloquy is a textbook example of why we love the style. Conditioned for absolute clarity, this beer pours a beautiful bright golden colour and delivers that satisfying, resinous bite that old-school IPA lovers crave.
The Hop Profile: Brewed with a classic, heavy-hitting trio of Citra, Centennial, and Cascade.
Tasting Notes: Expect a big hit of zesty citrus upfront, followed by deep, dank pine, all balanced perfectly by a clean, dry malt finish. It is highly aromatic and aggressively refreshing.
Crown Shyness | DDH Hazy Pale Ale (5.0% ABV)
If you prefer your pales on the juicier side, Crown Shyness is going to be your new favourite. A "Double Dry Hopped" (DDH) pale ale, this beer is built for maximum aroma and a thick, pillowy mouthfeel.
The Hop Profile: This is where it gets exciting. As Intended has paired the reliable pine and citrus notes of Simcoe with a rare, experimental New Zealand hop called NZH-106.
Tasting Notes: The result is a beautifully light, hazy pale that bursts with bold citrus and pine, layered with subtle, sweet stone fruit and a delicate touch of melon. The finish is soft, velvety, and incredibly smooth.
Ready to taste the hype for yourself? You can grab both Soliloquy and Crown Shyness right now. Pop down to our Bridgend bottle shop to browse the fridges, or buy online for fast, secure UK delivery.

BEER DROP
The fleet has officially docked. We’ve traded the high seas for the high road to bring you a fresh drop from the Craftsmen at Otherworld Brewing. We’re not saying our delivery driver wore a captain’s hat, but we did find some sea salt and a faint sound of gulls in the van this morning.
Abandon | NEIPA (7.2%)
A tropical storm in a can. Expect a thick, pillowy mouthfeel and an absolute deluge of stone fruit and citrus notes. It’s the kind of beer you’d happily get stranded with.
Armada | Hazy Pale Ale (4.5%)
The perfect vessel for your afternoon session. This one is light, bright, and incredibly easy-going, boasting a fleet of hop-forward flavors that won’t sink your plans for the day.
Barghest | IPA (5.4%)
Barghest is a contemporary, well-balanced IPA . It is designed to be highly refreshing, moving away from aggressive bitterness in favor of a smooth, fruit-forward profile.
Now Available Online and In-store
Pro Tip: Keep these cold. A warm NEIPA is a mutiny waiting to happen.
