About the team

Nearest Beer Shop is a family-run, independent business in the heart of Bridgend. We sell the finest craft beer, cider, and spirits from Wales, the UK, and the rest of the world.

Lee is a multi-award-winning Welsh brewer, picking up SIBA gold medals 3 years running at Regional and National level. He doesn’t just drink beer, he knows the science behind it too, so you can be assured that we are always on the lookout for exciting new products for our shelves.

All the team are avid fans of craft beer, wine, spirits, and cider, with many years of experience enjoying some of the world’s best beverages.

About the shop

At the shop, we stock over 200 craft beers, with an ever-changing lineup of premier producers.

We love to support local businesses, so you will always find Welsh beer, cider, and spirits on our shelves.

Our passion for quality beverages is evident when you come into the shop. If you found something on a supermarket shelf, you are unlikely to find it here because we support small independents, not multi-nationals.

Located just a 2-minute walk from Bridgend Train Station, we are the perfect pit-stop between Cardiff and Swansea. Heading to Porthcawl for the weekend? Stock up here first. We are proudly Dog Friendly, so don’t forget to bring your pooch in while you browse.
